I love my skin care. I’m all about it, and it’s therapeutic. I actually used to have really bad skin back in college. However after a whole lot of TLC it is thankfully in a good place, and I’ve established a weekly skin care routine.
The mornings are always the same, while my evenings are almost the same with the exception of a couple days that are a little different to include my weekly face mask, weekly exfoliation, and weekly serum. Check out details of my evening skin care routine below!
On a daily basis-both morning and evening-I wash my face using the Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser, and then I apply Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner. Both of these items can be bought on Nykaa. In the mornings, I then proceed to apply moisturizer (more on that later) and finish with sunscreen: Clinique Super City Block Oil-Free Daily Face Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 40, which I bought from the U.S., but I’m so happy that I can get it here.
However, after washing and toning my face in the evenings, I continue to whatever skincare regime I have for that day of the week:
- Tuesdays are for Face Masking-My face mask of choice depends on my mood. I have combination to oily skin, so I always choose my masks accordingly. It can be anything from a sheet mask to a clay mask or something inbetween. It honestly depends on what I have at home with me. This week I used Nykaa Skin Secrets Avocado+Moringa Sheet Mask.
- Wednesdays are for Exfoliation: I exfoliate my skin once a week for that deep clean. I use the Neutrogena Naturals Acne Foaming Scrub.
Finally after the above items are done, I finish with moisturizer: using Cerave Moisturizing Cream, which was recommended by my dermatologist in the US. It is seriously a godsend, and I always get a tub or 2 when I visit back home.
This completes my routine, with the exception of Thursdays, where I finish with my weekly serum after moisturizer: The Face Shop The Therapy Hydrating Formula-which my dear husband picked up for me from Bangkok Airport.
That’s it for my skin care! Until next time! 🙂 Please note the above links are not sponsored!
