A few months ago, I posted a blog about my most updated daily routine since moving back to California. However, now Aisha has started preschool, and mornings have changed. She goes to preschool 3 times a week. Yet, to keep things consistent we leave the house at the same time everyday: either for school or for the gym. The wakeup time is still the same, but the activities are slightly different and we’re moving at a much faster pace now. So here goes.
5:00 a.m. Wakeup– Yes, this is still exactly the same. I honestly don’t think I can handle getting up much earlier than this. Therefore we’re sticking to a 5:oo a.m. wakeup, which is followed by a quick micellar water cleanse, getting into workout clothes, coffee, meditation, and then breakfast.
Post Breakfast Quick Chores- Once breakfast is done, I prepare the ingredients for my preworkout smoothie, and prepare Aisha’s breakfast for the non preschool mornings-where she eats her breakfast at the daycare.
6:45-Aisha Wakeup-When Aisha wakes up, we put on our meditation music to start the day on a peaceful note and get ready for the day: bathroom, brush teeth, and get dressed.
7:25ish Out the Door-We are in the car and ready to go by 7:25ish-either to gym or to school to get the day started, and workout starts by 8 a.m. after I’ve dropped off Aisha at school/daycare!
And that is the updated the morning routine. I have to say I definitely like it a lot better because I get on with the day a lot faster, and it just keeps things moving along!
