Summer Dress Haul from India

If you’ve been seeing my Tiktok lately, I’ve been talking about my love for summer dresses, especially as the weather warms up. However, I’ve always found that India has way more options for dresses than shopping here in the US-considering how hot and humid it gets. Therefore, I got my hands on some wonderful longer, flowy dresses in that beautiful cotton, linen blend that I just have to share.

This Zara one-Honestly, I don’t shop at Zara too much over here, but I love it in India. I love this dress because of the stripes, the slit in the middle, and the fabric, making it super friendly and easy to wear in the all types of hot weather.

This H & M One-THIS one reminds me of the milkmaid dress that’s going viral on tiktok. I love the scrunched detailing on the bodice. Yet, it’s long, linen, and easy to wear-especially on those days where we’re too lazy to shave our legs OR we just want to mix it up. Not everything in summer has to be short right?

This White One from Grandma-This one is truly special to me. My husband’s grandmother gifted me this fabric and took me to get a dress custom-made. Only in India right? So I love the cotton fabric and one cannot go wrong with white color in the summertime.

So those are some of the dresses I got from India this year. I did get a couple more, but I just didn’t get a good picture of them. So I shall be sharing those soon.  India being slightly more conservative when it comes to fashion, the options for more modest, and the daily dresses are endless. As a parent, I love wearing a dress that’s just fuss-free, and I like that to break up the pace of dressing up in the summer. Do you have a favorite?
