It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas-Holiday Decor 2022

So, I’m ecstatic that it’s the holidays again, and with Aisha growing older, she’s able to take in the celebrations even more so. I love seeing her light up with everything, and I’m looking forward to having her participate in all the festivities-starting with the decor. Just like Halloween time, Aisha and I went together to get our home decor tidbits. We went to our favorite spots: Micheal’s and Target, and got just enough of everything to create some holiday cheer.

Fireplace: The focal point of our living room is the fireplace. I started with a small stand I picked up at the grocery store, which said “Tis the season to Jingle”, and it literally has jingle bells. Once Thanksgiving finished, I did some more intentional decor shopping: I got some bottle brush Christmas trees and catchy phrase frames from Target-during the Black Friday Sale. The bottle brush trees accentuated one corner of the mantle, while the frames were placed right in the middle. The finishing touches was the poinsetta garland, which goes from corner to corner and finally the snowman advent calendar, which Aisha loved the minute she saw it!  And the fireplace is done!

Christmas Tree: Since we have a smaller space, we opted for 4′ Christmas tree what we placed on top of our corner coffee table. Pre-lit, colored lights, and neutral, shiny ornaments!

Cushions: The last touch of cozy is the cushions-and being the holiday season I went for the classic red and green. One red snowflake cushion for the love seat and one green sham for the larger sofa, and my living room is complete!

And that is my indoor holiday decor this year. I’m happy with it! What is your favorite decor in your home?
