For those of you following me on Instagram, you may have seen some snippets about my family trip to Colorado. It was incredible by the way. One of the best domestic trips I’ve ever done in the United States. We were there for 5 nights taking a Thursday morning flight there and a flight back the following Tuesday. Check out the journey below!
Day 1
To take advantage of the day, we opted for a morning flight out of Sacramento International Airport, which landed in Denver International Airport almost 2 hours later. The view of the Rockies from the flight window was incredible! We grabbed a bite to eat at a local favorite, which had the most incredible burgers ever, and then checked into our hotel before heading out for the evening.
For dinner, we explored River North Art (RiNo) District in Denver, which was so cool! You know how many instagrammable spots there were? There were so many alleys with beautiful street art. It was amazing to see! We ate dinner at the an amazing pizza place at the Denver Central Market, and then explored the area. The weather was amazing, so it was wonderful to walk around and see all the art from the local artists.
We finished our day with some local coffee from Crema Bodega and ice cream from the High Point Creamery, and then headed back to our hotel to tuck in!
That was it for day 1, if I wrote about the entire trip in one blog, it would be extremely long! Stay tuned for the next one to see what else we discovered!
Great post 🙂
