5 Summer Outfits to Try for your Next Date Night

So where I’m at, the weather for the next week is showing 90+ degrees-aka WARM! Honestly, after a wet and cold winter, I don’t mind a little warmth. Plus, after shopping for some new clothes, I’m very excited to wear them throughout the summer months for date nights or even family dinner nights. So here are my favorites!

Wide Leg Jeans-Let’s face it, wide leg/baggy jeans are here to stay (hello 90s). However, loser fitting clothes are extremely weather friendly and a nice variation from the dresses and shorts that are worn most of the summer anyways. I got my hands on wide leg jeans from Express and I fell in love with them. I love pairing them with a nice blouse and a wedge shoe-and voila instant date night outfit ready!

High Waist Shorts-Another easy ‘fit is a cute pair of shorts with nice top or body suit. Now, I’m not talking about the jean shorts you can wear on a casual day. I’m talking about the dressier shorts: paper bag waist, linen shorts, dress shorts-you name it. Any of these with a nicer top is another super easy summer date night outfit.

Jumpsuit-When I was living in India, I fell in love with jumpsuits: one piece of clothing that looks sophisticated and chic AND is an entire look all on it’s own!? Um yes please! Plus they’re not super tight and they’re comfortable-making it an excellent staple for your next outing. I have quite a few different styles: printed, wide leg, straight leg and they all work throughout the summer.

Dresses-Ok, dresses are the most obvious and you can go any way possible: mini, midi, maxi-different colors, different cuts-another single piece of clothing that works all on it’s own and it’s comfortable! So have fun with dresses this summer! I got this little number from Amazon and it’s so comfy and cute!

Romper-If there’s one piece of clothing I was hesitant on, it was the romper. I used to always find them too short or I didn’t like the neckline or whatnot. However, when I started exploring rompers last year, I found options that worked for me, and I love these for the summer. They’re casual, yet dressy, and super cute. Personally, I don’t think I could ever get tired of these!
