So last week, I posted a blog post about my most recent family trip to Monterey. It was about 5 months after our last trip, and therefore, we gathered some brand-new toddler-travel friendly tidbits which were serious game changers during the trip. So here are the must haves one should have, while traveling with a littleĀ one.
Hiccapop Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed-This is a lifesaver. It’s an inflatable bed with its own pump that easily folds up and fits into a travel bag with a drawstring. PLUS the mattress fits a conventional crib or twin sheet. We’ve used this bed for Aisha on just about every road trip. It saves us the headache whether or not a hotel would accommodate a crib and it gives her her own space whenever we do travel.
Go-Be Kids Snack Spinner-Another lifesaver. If you are parents of toddlers/kids, you know that one has to keep a snack handy for any kind of trip: big or small. So our 5-hour long road trip needed all the snacks. This snack spinner accommodates 5 different snacks, and the snacker can choose which one to eat by simply pressing a button. So it’s entertaining+snacking all at once. It kept Aisha occupied for a good amount of time both on the road, and while we were out and about with the stroller.
Jool Baby Folding Travel Potty Seat-Not gonna lie, TikTok made me buy this. Let’s face it, potty training is exhausting, and restrooms just don’t accommodate for the little bums! This folding potty seat is so handy! It folds up easily and fits into a bag, small enough to fit in my purse, and it has suction cups to stick to just about any seat anywhere. My only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner!
Travel Fork & Spoon with a Case-One of the main challenges that I faced while going to a restaurant with Aisha is not having the proper cutlery for her. Restaurant cutlery was naturally too big. Therefore, I found this set on Amazon which has a lovely little case so the dirty utensils can be contained after use. Honestly, she tends to use her hands more than the utensils, but it’s always nice to provide the option!
And there you have it, my top travel tidbits for toddlers, which are all available on Amazon. Fellow mamas, anything I’m missing?
