3 Valuable Lessons I’m taking with me as I turn 32

If you’ve following me for a couple of years now, you’d know that I always do a bit of a reflective blog post around my birthday. This year is the same, but different. I’ve picked a few complex lessons in the last several months, which I’ve imbibed in my inner being. So here goes:

Get the Good Stuff-Whether that is good healthy food or clean home and beauty products, getting the good stuff goes a very long way. I feel a lot better by eating fresh food items or even using the correct products on my skin. It also feels very good to be inhaling sustainable cleaning products in my home where my daughter is running around. Hence, get the good stuff!

You Cannot Change People don’t change unless they want to- It’s as simple as that. I know for a fact that I cannot control the behaviors of other people or the actions they choose to do. Unless they themselves want the change. Beyond that, it’s just wasting my breath.

There are Always Two Sides to One Story-There always multiple perspectives to everything-so it’s best to assume or judge. In the last couple months, I’ve tried my hardest to assess scenarios objectively. However, imbibing this lesson is always a good reminder.

So those are a few of the valuable lessons I’m currently imbibing as I continue my journey into 30s. What are some of things you’re imbibing?

I agree with point number two- you can’t change people unless they want to change. I learned that the hard way last year. Anyway, these are great lessons. 💙

No you cannot. It’s a tough one to learn for sure.
